    • Purveyor of Fine Yarns specializes in single breed yarns. We purchase fleece from smaller producers, in the Heartland Threads Fibershed and the wider Midwest. Yarns are prepped and then taken to a mill (in Iowa, Wisconsin or Minnesota) to be spun into yarn. Currently our yarns represent the following breeds: Clun Forest, Corriedale, Cormo, Polypay, East Friesian, Romney, Romeldale/CVM, a beautiful Corriedale/Romeldale cross and a limited edition Polypay/Alpaca blend. This spring we are looking forward to creating yarns with Gottland and Horned Dorset.
