Sign up for the vendor waiting list here.
The email you receive with your application information is also confirmation that you are accepted as a vendor. (You can also check that your company is listed on the vendor page.) We close signups when there are no more spaces left, and will only contact vendors who aren’t a good fit for the fair to reject their application. You will be contacted closer to the fair with sales tax filing information.
Setup times are:
- Friday, September 18th: 10 am to 6 pm
- Saturday, September 19th: 7-8:45 am
- You must be ready to open to the public by 9 am Saturday, September 19th
Vendor showcase is open:
- Saturday, September 19th: 9 am to 5 pm
- Sunday, September 20th: 9 am to 1 pm
- Vendors must be open until close on Sunday afternoon. (No closing down early!)
- Access to the vendor space is restricted when the vendor showcase is closed. Vendor space will close at 5:30 pm Saturday and vendors will be allowed in 45 minutes prior to opening on Sunday.
All booths must be dismantled by Sunday at 5 pm. A $50 fee will be collected for every hour after 5 pm.
An internet connection is available free of charge at the event. Please have a backup data plan available in case of an internet outage.
No animals are allowed in the buildings except service dogs.
If you have someone helping in your booth this year, make sure Annie has all the names for name tags. If they’ve come with you before, she probably has the info already, but it’s always good to check.
Sales tax is 7.7% again this year. You must fill out and mail in the South Dakota Department of Revenue form by the due date on the form. If you file electronically via epath, yes, you still have to fill the form out and mail it in. Please note: do not send the form to the old Watertown address. The office here was closed in May 2025, so all forms and payments should go to the Aberdeen office now.
Absolutely no mailed vendor or ad registrations will be accepted. Annie can take your registration over the phone if you need assistance, so call, text, or email to set up a time.
Any lights put up in a vendor booth should be attached immediately over products and not shine into other booths (no six-foot pole lights shining from on high!).
Vendors must remain in the designated booth space. The aisles are the size they are for fire code and safety reasons, not so you have extra spillover space. A few inches over is fine, multiple feet over the line is not.
Have a question that isn’t answered here? Call, text, or email for assistance.
