This class will provide a foundation for creating Granny Squares to be used in blankets, clothes, pillows, or anything else you want to crochet. We will cover the basic granny square as well as fancy additions that can make a granny square special. During the class, students will make 3 small squares. If time allows, some more advanced techniques will be shown such as front-post and back-post stitches, cluster stitches, puff stitches, and picots. Students will get several patterns to use in this class.

Elizabeth Fox
Elizabeth is a knitter, crocheter, spinner, and all-around craftaholic. She regularly teaches classes and likes to challenge students to experiment with skills they didn't know they had. She feels that all crafters can have fun learning new things and becoming more flexible in their craft. She lives in Brookings, SD, with her cat and her dog, and spends her work days as a librarian.
