Calling all fiber artists!

Planning is underway for North Country Fiber Fair 2023, which will take place September 15-17, 2023, in Watertown, SD, at the Codington County Extension Complex. We’ve got a lot of things going on this year, some old and some new, and can’t wait to see you all this fall!

Here’s what’s going on right now:

You’ll need to sign up for an account on the NCFF website to access the vendor & ad contracts and to submit class proposals.

Feel free to pass this information along to anyone you know that might be interested. They can sign up for one or more of our email lists to get the information directly in the future.

Don’t miss an email from NCFF

Make sure you don’t miss an update from NCFF by whitelisting our domain. You can (and should) regularly check your spam folder, but it’s easy to forget and even better if valid emails never end up there in the first place. :)  Here’s how to do that in Gmail:

On the top right, click on the settings gear (circled in red).

Click on “See all settings.”

Click on “Filters and Blocked Addresses” and then “Create a new filter.” You may need to scroll down to the bottom of a list if you already have some filters created.

Enter (or just in the From field, then click “Create filter.”

Check the box next to “Never send it to spam” and then press the “Create filter” button.

And there you go! :)

Welcome 2023!

The 2023 event will be held September 15–17, 2023!

With a new year comes a changing of the guard in the board.

To those who have helped serve on the board, we are so very grateful for all the energy and enthusiasm you gave to making North Country Fiber Fair 2022 a great hit.

Welcome to new board member Anna Flowers of Sioux Falls. We are still looking for a few new faces to join the board and to help with the 2023 fair. If you are interested in learning more about board membership or know someone who would be an excellent addition to our team, please contact us.

We know that our vendors are excited to get registered—letters will be sent out soon with registration opening around the first of February. In addition, we will be sending requests for class proposals soon.

If you would like to be notified of either of these, you can subscribe to the notification list for vendors and/or teachers.

As we plan, the board welcomes suggestions for classes, teachers, and/or vendors. Contact us to submit your suggestions.
