Participants will create a soft sculpture: weaving, constructing, and embellishing a personalized horse with stand. Everything needed to make the horse will be supplied.
This is a day-long course to give time for weaving and construction. Students leave with their own unique horse sculpture. Students are encouraged to bring their own 4″ loom and a 2″ loom, if they have one. Some 2″ looms will be available for use.
Please note: this is a six-hour class, with a break for lunch at noon.
Minimum number of students: 3
Maximum number: 10
Skill level: Students need to be able to weave on their pin loom without supervision.
Minimum age: 12
Notes: Registration includes a $15 materials fee, as all supplies needed to construct the spirit horse (yarn, stuffing, printed instructions, twigs, hardwood stands, and a wide variety of embellishments, including a variety of charms and beads, plus beading needles) will be provided.
