We will be making a broach/shawl pin or art piece using zippers, roving, and embellishments. The zipper is hand sewn onto wool felt, making an outline of a design. The inside is then filled in with wool roving using the technique of needle felting. Then buttons, beads, metal, and other embellishments are added.
Students will learn also how to prepare a zipper and apply a pattern. Instruction of needle felting will also be included in this class as well as embellishment tips and finishing options. This class is open to all skill levels.

Skill level: Needle felting experience is a plus but not a prerequisite for this class.
