Cancellations
In the event that the NCFF Board of Directors cancels the in-person fiber fair for any reason, including COVID-19/pandemic-related issues, all vendor, advertising, and class fees will be refunded.
If a vendor or class registrant cancels their reservation and the fair itself hasn’t been cancelled, the regular cancellation policies apply. Please see below for additional details.
* Please note there is a 5% processing fee on all refunds
Vendor Cancellations
- Cancellation received by May 31—full booth fee refunded, minus the 5% processing fee.
- Cancellation received by August 15—half of the booth fee refunded, minus the 5% processing fee.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations after Aug. 15.
Class Cancellations
- Cancellation received by August 23—full price of the class refunded, minus the 5% processing fee.
- Cancellation received by September 13—half of the price of the class refunded, minus the 5% processing fee.
- No refunds for cancellations after Sept. 13.
In the event a class is cancelled by NCFF, registrants will receive a full refund.
Checking in for Classes
Students who register for classes must check in half an hour prior to the start of class at the info desk. (Students may contact NCFF via email or by calling/texting to make other arrangements.)
Students who have not checked in by half an hour prior to the start of class will forfeit their class registration. No refund will be issued and the registration will be opened to people on the class waiting list.
Registering Kids for Classes
Most class information pages will list the minimum age the teacher has said they will teach in the class. You know your kid best, will they be able to sit still for that multiple-hour class?
Children ages 12 and under need to have an adult proficient in the craft present for the class; adult need not register. Please make a note in order form additional information box when registering for classes, indicating the registration is for a kid and include the name of the adult that will be assisting them.
Fiber Bingo, Fiber Trivia, Raffles, & Social Events
There are no refunds for raffle tickets, fiber bingo, fiber trivia, or the Saturday Evening Social. BYOB for these social events does not allow alcohol because of the event space contract.
